What is SIT?

SIT is the Information and Processing Service of the Town Hall of Teulada. It was created to respond to the demands and needs of the inhabitants, bringing the Local Administration closer to them, simplifying the administrative formalities and offering a personal, efficient, quick and pleasant service.

SIT entails a true change in the relationship with the users, as a response to the modernisation will of the municipal administration. SIT is a dynamic service, its number of tasks increases along with the demands of the users and the configuration of the municipality.

Objectives:

  • To facilitate the relationship and formalities with the Town Hall
  • To prevent citizens from having to move from one place to another whenever possible.
  • To adopt an administrative culture based on public service. To integrate in one office all the administrative paperwork under the responsibility of the Town Hall.

Functions:

  • General information on the municipality, organisation, regulation, activities…
  • Information and processing of files and proceedings.
  • Issuance and receipt of self-assessment payments.
  • Management of the Municipal Register of Inhabitants paperwork.
  • Registrations in sports schools, Schools for adults, Conservatory…
  • Reservation of municipal hall venues and spaces.
  • NIF (Tax Identification Number) issuance.
  • ACCV (Valencian Community Certification Authority) digital signature issuance.
  • Cadastral certificates issuance.
  • Issuance of Citizen’s card.
  • Full management of complaints and suggestions (Regional Government of Alicante Award for Good practice in the 2009 Local Administration).

Quality certificate

With the aim of obtaining the maximum confidence from the users, we are committed to constant improvement, which leads us to an optimisation of the quality of the SIT activities.

Therefore, and fulfilling our main objective, on June 25, 2008, the SIT obtained the ISO STANDARD 9001:2008 QUALITY CERTIFICATE, and has been reviewed year after year, obtaining the best results and therefore the renewal of the certificate.
