The municipality of Teulada Moraira and the Association of Muscat Producers launch a promotion reaching out to the country’s most important muscat grape markets.
The department of agriculture has printed 75.000 folders. Next year, the promotion material will accompany each grape delivery with destination Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Logroño and other Spanish cities. The calculation for next season shows that sales will amount to approximately 500.000 kilos.
The folder introduces the fruit itself, characteristics of the area and it also serves as advertisement material, describing Teulada Moraira as a popular tourist destination. The sun and the fresh breeze from the sea are mentioned as key components, giving the grapes the special flavour and colour.
“We want our grape to be well-known in the whole country and there is no better way than to approach the buyer, the consumer of the product directly. The promotion is small, but we are sure the results will be excellent”, mentioned Alejandro Llobell, councillor for agriculture.
