27/11/2019

The chairman of the "Xarxa Jove Marina Alta" is Aitor LLobell, councillor of Teulada Moraira, and the second edition of the competition "Jóvenes Promesas" is already in progress. Young people from the county can register until 31 January.

The President of Red Joven, Aitor Llobell, and the Vice President of the Association, Melani, declared that this year's event will cover the following categories: singing, street dance, monologues, micro theatre, short film and as a novelty, magic. The prize money for the winners of each category is €250. From today, the regulations can be consulted in the youth information centres of the county and at the MACMA headquarters.

"Xarxa Jove Marina Alta", explained the president of the association, "wants to encourage the young people of the county to register for the categories we offer". Jovi Seser, MACMA's Managing Director, expressed his satisfaction with the fact that, after three years of Xarxa Jove, events such as the talent competition have consolidated and the importance of cooperation amongst the county's municipalities in matters such as youth policy, has been reaffirmed. On the other hand, Majo Puig, technical director of Xarxa Jove, mentioned the success of last year's competition and underlined the importance of promoting categories, that had a low number of participants last year. The re-run of the talent competition is intended to support the original project and create a dynamic among the young people of the Marina Alta. At the same time, the competition serves as a showcase for hidden talents.
