14 TEULADA MORAIRA SATUDENTS WILL ATTEND THE SCHOOL "EMPRENDEDORES DE LA MARINA ALTA"

11/5/2019

The school “Emprendedores de La Marina Alta” welcomed its first students five years ago and 14 Teulada Moraira students will attend the classes this year. A total of 35 young people from municipalities such as Calpe, Benissa and Teulada Moraira will start with their studies. The initiative comes from the ministries for youth affairs of the three municipalities and the county council Alicante in collaboration with corporations such as the Marina Salud hospital, Fernández Asesores and other lawyers which are sponsoring the scholarship.

More than 400 youngsters of the above municipalities, 4th graders of ESO and 1st and 2nd graders of the secondary school, took part in workshops offered by their schools. This is how they got to know how important in life the attitude of an entrepreneur is. They were able to discover that dedication and talent are the motors to professional success and personal happiness. The workshops took place at the following schools: IES Josep Iborra, IES Ifach and IES Teulada.

The school for young entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta will start its classes next Friday, November 8 at the Centro de Excelencia in Benissa. The students will leave the school with a university degree and there is no charge.

The school’s goal is to unite the public sector, the private sector and the education system and thus help adolescents and young people between 14 and 20 to develop their capabilities through finance and business training.

Besides the weekly classes the school for young entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta has the task to give all people a better understanding of the finance and the entrepreneurial sector. To achieve this goal the school will offer various activities and events open to everybody and all ages.

This initiative is partly financed by the ministry for youth affairs of the municipality of Teulada with the amount of 4.500 Euros.
