Teulada Moraira's Department of Environment has resumed the cleaning and maintenance work in the green zones. The service was interrupted due to the declaration of a state of emergency, the result of the health crisis caused by the coronavirus.
Today workers began their job along the river path at the Font de l'Horta, clearing the thicket and preparing the track for walkers and sportspersons. The workers will have green zones ready between today and tomorrow.
"As this is a non-essential service, it was suspended during the declaration of the state of emergency. With the resumption of walking and sports activities, it was now important to re-establish the service. The department is getting all green zones ready so residents can enjoy walking and sports activities in the best possible conditions," says Carlos Martínez, Local Councillor Department of Environment.
