With Semana Santa approaching, the local police are stepping up their traffic controls04 April 2020

The declaration of a state of emergency as a result of the health crisis COVID-19 prohibits to travel to secondary residences. Given the coming holidays, the local police tighten traffic controls. The local police will increase the checkpoints at access roads to Teulada and Moraira.

On these dates, the village generally has a massive influx of tourists and people visiting their secondary residence. As a result of the curfew, such relocations are prohibited. They could contribute to the spread of the virus. The local police have therefore taken special security measures which should prevent people from undertaking unnecessary trips and ensure that everybody complies with the government's decree.

The municipality of Teulada Moraira appeals to the population's sense of responsibility to ensure public health.
