53 people have been fined in Teulada Moraira during the first 20 days of curfew03 April 2020

During the proclamation of the state of emergency in the face of the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the work of the local police is essential and, so they continue to be active. During the first 20 days of the curfew, the officers imposed 53 fines for failure to comply with the curfew.


The officers patrol the village streets daily to ensure the health of the residents and the compliance with the curfew. During the first 20 days, they checked 715 people and 765 vehicles. They are also investigating 21 cases of gender-based violence. We would like to recall that the number 016 is still available in cases of mistreatment. It is a secure number which the phone does not register. The officers also took care of a homeless person and referred six families to social services.


The newly introduced information number of the local police was called more than 340 times with a wide variety of questions. The number is 965 74 01 58, extension 1224, and they receive calls from 11 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm.
